On second thought, Laffy Taffy isnt really a "drug-induced song". ("Laffy taffy" frankly refers pu**y lips.) But after hearing more of Fabo's music, and noticing how this dude is yelling his ass off in some songs-I'm convinced. (Fabo is the only ni**a I know that has yelled "Barbra" in a song. Unless Barbra is short for barbiturates, Im still confused by this).

Another song I recently ran across was Lil' Wayne's "I Feel Like Dying". It is a dope ass song but the entire time you're listening youre asking yourself: "What the fuck is this dude on?" Also, take a listen to "Leather So Soft"; what exactly would make you write a song about how soft your leather is? You probably would have never noticed the softness of your leather unless you were on Ecstasy. Now, I don't do drugs, and never have experimented with the shit (out of fear of what my alter-ego might do). So when I hear one of my favorite rappers, Pimp C, talking about 'snawtin' the white girl up off some beeshes titties', I cant personally relate, but yet I understand and continue to ride for the Pimp.

As we all know, the drug culture and the music culture go hand-in-hand...but dayum! I mean, check it out: back in the 80's and early 90's, NWA came out with the song 'Express Yourself' where Dr. Dre stated that he didn't do drugs. Then came '94' or '95 and Dr. Dre comes out with one of the dopest rap albums of all times-The Chronic.

Now before I feel a backlash from the streets, I want to say: no, I do not think Dr. Dre is a "real street cat". But yet, I understand what I'm writing. Now everybody is talking about poppin pills, snawtin something, sippin the syrup or smoking good. I wonder what's next. Recently the lead singer of the group Hi-Five lost his life to huffing f**king freon!? FREON!? Next motherf**kers gonna be poppin' 'shrooms and licking frog backs. I'm predicting the shit right here and now. Ni**as will be getting pulled over for trafficking frogs from state to state. Ni**as will be running up on you talking about: "Yo homie, I got them frogs for the low low." Cant you hear Young Jeezy rapping bout how he 'got them frogs jumpin' and Fabo coming up with some new slang for frog licking...how does "gettin' kermit" sound?

Then again, I'm no prophet. I'm just a dude that aint never did a drug in my life; wondering what's going on.

"Tip, Sip, or Dip."

Tipwell

Algierz presents RAW AND UNCUT...

Algierz Brand Clothing & Music
www.Algierz.com
twitter.com/Algierz
Tel.# 310-215-3141

Algierz presents

Raw and Uncut Hip-Hop

"Hip-Hop on sum NEXT SHI!T"
From the intro track of this mixtape, it is apparent Algierz Brand Clothing & Music and DJ Ferno Boudreaux are out to make a statement.
The clothing company, well-known for keeping Texas and much of the U.S. draped up and dripped out with its unique t-shirts, recruited K.O.D./Hood Hard Hitmakers veteran DJ Ferno Boudreaux to host a block banger worthy of heavy rotation this fall.
Jewels like The Recipe feat. E-40+Gucci Mane+Bun B along with Baby Powder feat. Boo Rossini+Young Jeezy and the soon-to-be classic Freedom feat. Chalie Boy are brilliantly placed on the 70+ minute compilation. Rounded out with glimpses of DJ Ferno Boudreaux's lyrical skills, a hilarious ode to mary jane, and a few shameless plugs by Algierz Brand Clothing & Music, this mixtape production gets their message across clearly. As promised, RUHH is on another level. The hard-hitting, well-produced mixtape helps both Algierz and host DJ Ferno Boudreaux distinguish themselves as forces to be reckoned amongst their competition.
-S. I know they changed they’re name and all to 3-6 but, deep down to me, they will always be Triple Six Mafia. These last two albums they put out have been BOO-BOO! I cant tell you how much Lolli Lolli makes my stomach do a nose dive. To hear one of my favorite groups growning into more Pop, bubble gum shit than Flo-Rida (No shots).

Man...just speaking from a true fan point of view, I miss those old 3-6 hits, like “Tear the Club Up”, “Beat Them Hoes Down”, the entire DJ Paul Underground Volume 16 Mixtape, all of Chapter 2 and When the Smoke Clears was a fucking classic! I sweatagawd, I’d take it to anybody who got something different to say.

Most of the decline can be accounted to members leaving after each album. When Gangsta Boo left and Crunchy Black was moved to the background my interest decreased. Crunchy Black always had the hardest verses to me.

It seriously bothers me that OG-like cats aint really producing like they used to. One of the many recent successes for Primo Starr include the release of his single Say Hello To My Life. The heavy-hitting mid-tempo banger Say Hello... is laced with southern drawl and personal confessions and has served as both a testimony and introduction for the self professed 'backpack gangsta'.

The streets, clubs, and radio stations throughout SC have caught wind of the hypnotic single and embraced it as a classic.

Considered both conscious and raw with his lyrics, Primo Starr began rhyming at the tender age of 9. Originally one half of the rap group B.R.E.E.D., who signed an independent deal with Universal Records, Starr has experienced both the failures and successes of an artists within the music industry.

Riding a wave of national attention and respect courtesy the recent work of SC-natives Lil' Ru (Def Jam), State House Records (Grand Hustle), The Bureau (E1/Koch) and Stupid Dove Moves, Primo Starr's presence is shining through. Collaborations, networking, and a incomparable work ethic set Primo Starr apart from other local budging talent...

Catch the latest news, music, and info from Primo Starr at www.PrimoStarr.com

-S. Me and all my provocativeness are back. I’ve relocated down to South Texas...Still flying my WSOUF flag high and proud, BIIIIIIIITCH!

Anyways, I was sitting at the computer, YouTubin’, and started reminiscing about some of the music back in the 90’s - the classic G-Funk West Coast shit that most of our Southern Rap (or Country Rap Tunes as the late great Pimp C would say)grew from.
[Panky rang in the air for the late great Pimp C aka Chad Butler]

Well, during my search I ran across a couple of videos that brought me to the memory of Rachel. Yall ’member Rachel? The Caribbean honeydip that was on BET’s Caribbean Rhythms. And the thought of Rachel begot thoughts of PATRA!
Patra - THE ORIGINAL VIDEO HOE! Ladies, you want somebody to blame for BET Uncut and the whole Video Hoe phenomenon from earlier this century? Blame this chick…

*NOTE: I originally wanted to post the video of Worker Man cause I thought she was extra hoe-ish in that one, but the fags that posted it on YouTube disabled the embed code, so yall will have to settle for this softcore orgy video.

Look at all that gotdamn humpin' and grinding! I think this was the predecessor of the 95 South/69 Boyz (and we all know they were the same damn group) “Ride the Train”.
I remember being 12, 13, 14 years old and wanting to fuck the shit outta Patra AND her dancers.

Next video!

YES! The ugliest man in all of the Caribbean was also, apparently, a sex symbol there.

SHABBA!

One of the sexiest videos in Dancehall history, was ruined by ShabbafuckingRanks and his gotdamn Gumby haircut! Ooh and don’t forget his MC Hammer Pants…er…shorts.

Little know fact: Shabba was dropped from his label after the song Boom Bye Bye was released in the early-mid 90s. BBB is a anti-homosexual rant (that I still bang out of the Yukon to this day).

I hope y'all enjoyed this segment. George, when I say: "WE started this shit!" Uhuhhn, don't get it twisted. We did. Now you see, Internet radio has always been the bastard child of the radio family. Sibling rivalries between ourselves, terrestrial radio (AM/FM), and satellite radio (ex: XM/Sirius) has only made us stronger and wiser. We still love and respect terrestrial and satellite radio BUT this is OUR SHIT!
WE came into this game in 2005. And since then we've proven to be a self-sufficient, credible, professional station that is in tune with the root of Hip Hop-its people. We have reached out to numerous artists, producers, DJs, and peers, consistently for 5+ years. With no regard to that, SOME, who think of themselves as our competition, have questioned, doubted and disrespected us. Let me remind all of you...WE started this shit! This 24/7 365 online radio showcasing the underground southern heat...THAT'S ALL US.
In case you forget, even a momentary lapse of memory, we have a crew-Strategic Entertainment, 300 Entertainment, Triple 7 Entertainment, Drumlordz Entertainment, and a few others ready to jog your memory.

Check our resume then check yourselves.
WSOUF, motherf'kers!

~ S.D. And if we must censor our thoughts and feelings, it must be a wholistic effort. Figures like Al Sharpton, Russell Simmons, Oprah Winfrey and Armstrong Williams must also protest the drug and sexual innuendos present within FILM and POP[ular] MUSIC (including rock & alternative).

Recording industry executives who invest in the entertainers who are being scrutinized must take an active role in promoting positive behavior. Organizations like the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences from which Three-6 Mafia received an award for their song Its Hard Out Here For A Pimp, and Denzel Washington for his role as a dirty, womanizing, police offer in Training Day, must also be active in promoting positive images within the arts. Failing to do so will otherwise send mixed messages to our communities, its members and our neighbors.

Let us not attack rap, but instead accept it for what it is--an artistic expression often based on experiences from within an impoverished environment. As well, let us not hide behind our individual freedoms, including freedom of speech, using them as havens from accountability and compassion.

Peace,
Bosslady
Co-Founder/CEO

*These comments are solely those of S.D. WSOUF is now, more than ever, committed to starting your buzz. Keep riding with us. We won't steer you wrong. We've continuously provided artists and managers what we, and the goon squad (the WSOUF think tank), think of their music. If we think its good we let you know. If we don't, you get a picture of me laughing at you and your lack of creativity, holding up a sign that says: "What the f**k was that?"

To our listeners: ...we know you've enjoyed what you've been hearing. From Semyhr's Sweat Shop Show to the Den Of Iniquity with me. From AV's Southern Hospitality to Satuhde Knight Live with Tig Knight.
A wise man once told me that a great entertainer always knows his audience, which got me to thinking, "Who are we creating art for?" Of course, ourselves, but beyond that-we want to know who our audience is. The Grateful Dead calls their audience 'Deadheads.' Michael Richards calls his audience 'Ni**ers!.' Who are the fans of WSOUF? And what do we call them?
...we're dedicated to keep rolling, bringing you the new new hotness. Banging tracks from the best in the South, whether mainstream or underground. We are out to prove that the South aint all gold teeth, chains and spinning rims. We play all genre's of Hip-Hop from the south (as long as its good, don't get it twisted).

To the beloved staff and DJs: Thanks for making this movement the best thing to happen to Southern Hip-Hop since Getto Boys "Mind Playin Tricks On Me".
