Charlotte, NC July 17, 2009--- Charlotte's Independent Hip-Hop artist, Ike Turnah (www.iketurnah.com), has released a new video and is establishing a strategy surrounding his upcoming album, The Unconventional. The Unconventional represents Ike Turnah's sophomore independent release. Coming off of the underground success of his first album titled Yago Season, Ike has selected Worldbridge Marketing (www.worldbridgemarketing.com) to lead an online strategy to build awareness and to develop a fan base within foreign and regional markets.
The Unconventional gives fans a more mature Ike Turnah, influenced by artist such as: Miles Davis, Coltrane, Jimi Hendrix, Fela Kuti, James Brown, Madlib, Dilla, Camp Lo, Tribe Called Quest and many others. The Unconventional brings you into Ike's world and his mind. The first single for the The Unconventional album is titled "Upside Down". The Street date for the single will be August 15, 2009, with a Street date set for the entire album being, Sept 15th. The first phase of the marketing campaign has begun and will progress through November 2009.
