I want to speak on behalf of WSOUF, including my business partner Mr. K. George, when I say: "WE started this shit!" Uhuhhn, don't get it twisted. We did. Now you see, Internet radio has always been the bastard child of the radio family. Sibling rivalries between ourselves, terrestrial radio (AM/FM), and satellite radio (ex: XM/Sirius) has only made us stronger and wiser. We still love and respect terrestrial and satellite radio BUT this is OUR SHIT!
WE came into this game in 2005. And since then we've proven to be a self-sufficient, credible, professional station that is in tune with the root of Hip Hop-its people. We have reached out to numerous artists, producers, DJs, and peers, consistently for 5+ years. With no regard to that, SOME, who think of themselves as our competition, have questioned, doubted and disrespected us. Let me remind all of you...WE started this shit! This 24/7 365 online radio showcasing the underground southern heat...THAT'S ALL US.
